              Join us for a special book reading and signing event featuring "Rascal Takes Responsibility," the first in a series of heartwarming stories about the Forest Friends, a group of adorable animal characters who live near the Standing Pines Campground in Hartsville, SC. This family-friendly event, organized in collaboration with the Hartsville Chamber of Commerce, is a perfect opportunity for children and their families to meet the author and the illustrator, learn about the book's valuable life lessons, and discover the charming world of the Forest Friends.
              "Rascal Takes Responsibility" follows the adventures of Rascal and his friends as they learn the importance of admitting mistakes, making amends, and offering forgiveness. Through beautiful illustrations by a local artist and engaging storytelling, this book teaches children essential values that will help them grow into responsible and compassionate individuals. The story also serves as an introduction to the Standing Pines Campground, a new resort under development in Hartsville, SC, where the Forest Friends make their home.
              The book signing event will take place at the Greater Hartsville Chamber of Commerce on May 23rd at 3pm.During the event, the author and illustrator will read excerpts from "Rascal Takes Responsibility," share insights into the creation of the Forest Friends, and answer questions from the audience. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of the book, meet both the author and the illustrator, and learn more about the upcoming Standing Pines Campground, which will feature themes and characters from the Forest Friends series.
