A segmented bowl is a bowl made by gluing together individual pieces of wood to form rings, which are then stacked to create the bowl. The rings can vary in diameter and segment width to create the bowl's proportions.

Jack Dague has been a woodworker for the past 30+ years as a hobby who has specialized in making segmented bowls for the past several years. He has a Youtube channel under Wooden Traveler containing numerous videos teaching how to perform various techniques of segmenting. Jack is a former manager for Sonoco before retiring.
