HIM was created to act as a coordinated extension for local churches by establishing relationships with DSS, utilities, pharmacies and landlords to assure accurate information is obtained.

Amanda Colbert

My name is Amanda Colbert. I am a life-long member of this community. I grew up (and still reside in) in Patrick, South Carolina. I am a graduate of McBee High School. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Coker College where I double-majored in Psychology and Business Administration. Prior to accepting the position as Executive Director of HIM, I worked for 15+ years in the low-income housing sector of government for Darlington County. I most recently served as the Assistant Director of Emergency Housing Department for The South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority in Columbia, South Carolina.
